Throughout the month of March, CSC employees worked together to raise funds for war relief in Ukraine. Employees donated a total of $5,230 to help support this crisis, and with the company matching 100% of employee donations, CSC was able to donate $10,460 in total.

“The stories coming out of Ukraine are heartbreaking,” said Kerry Bunn, HR Manager, CSC. “I’m happy to support those in need and I’m proud to be part of an organization that supports such an important cause.”

The money was donated to United Way Worldwide’s United for Ukraine Fund, which addresses humanitarian issues in Ukraine including transportation, living accommodations, food, medicine, childcare supplies, hygiene kits, and much more.

United Way’s website explains, “In accordance with our mission of mobilizing the caring power of communities for the common good, United Way is launching the United for Ukraine Fund in response to this urgent and growing humanitarian crisis. By donating to United Way, you’re supporting vetted, nonpartisan organizations on the ground and providing vital help to those who need it most.”

“It is unfortunate that so many people have to go through these hardships that are beyond their control,” adds Michael Martignetti, Vice President of Sales, CSC. “I’m happy to be able to donate to make even a small difference to help them through this difficult time.”
